It's hard to read because of the typos from poor scanning and, apparently, no proofreading. Even the back cover description has a bunch of typos. Unfortunately, I got it a while three months ago, planning to read it for research, but only now (July) tried to read it|From the Back Cover||"When the first settlers landed on American shores, the difficulties in finding or making shelter must have seemed ironical as well as almost unbearable. The colonists found a land magnificent with forest trees of every size and variety, but
